Sounds like a bunch of gibberish to me, but my grandbaby showed me this thing on her phone, said it’s the “YouToob.” Now, I ain’t tech-savvy, not one bit, but from what I gather, it’s like a picture show box, but smaller and you can hold it in your hand. That’s somethin’, ain’t it?
This YouToob thing, version 19.11.43 they call it, is like a little window to the world. My grandbaby, she watches all sorts of things on it. Music, you know, the kind with the thumpin’ and the hollerin’, and them video games where them little fellas run around shootin’ and jumpin’. She says it’s got all sorts of things, fashion, makeup, even the news, though I don’t trust that news half the time, always spinnin’ yarns.

My grandbaby, she says you can get this YouToob thing from the “Google Play,” which I reckon is like a big store for these phone doohickeys. But then she told me somethin’ about a “YouTube Premium APK.” Said it’s like gettin’ all the fancy stuff for free, without payin’ them folks who make the YouToob. But she also said it could be dangerous, like gettin’ a virus on your phone, or gettin’ your account shut down. Sounds like a whole lotta trouble to me. I told her, “Just pay the money, child, it ain’t worth the headache.”
They say this YouToob app lets you watch your favorite videos and channels. Channels, I guess, are like different shows, kinda like them TV channels, but you get to pick what you want to watch whenever you want. That’s pretty neat, I gotta admit. And they got new things all the time, they call ’em “features.” My grandbaby gets these little messages on her phone, tellin’ her about the new stuff and how to use it. She’s always showin’ me somethin’ new, it’s hard to keep up.
Now, sometimes this here YouToob thing don’t work right. My grandbaby says it’s because her phone is full, or the internet is slow, or maybe the app just don’t like her phone. She gets all frustrated when that happens, but I tell her, “Patience, child, patience. Things ain’t always gonna work perfectly, just like life.”
